Terms applicable to orders for Opaléia biscuits and artisan creations.

Placing an order implies acceptance of the terms in force on that date. The customer receives an order summary on a durable medium at the email address provided.
The products are biscuits and artisan creations. The descriptions set out their essential characteristics. Artisan production may result in slight variations in appearance, weight or texture.
Prices are displayed in euros and are final prices. Opaléia benefits from the French VAT exemption scheme: VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. Delivery charges and the total payable are shown before the order is confirmed.
Offers are valid while products are available. If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the customer is informed and may receive a refund of the corresponding amount.
The customer checks the basket contents, contact details, delivery and total price before confirming the order. Opaléia may refuse or suspend an order in the event of an obvious error, suspected fraud or a payment incident.
Payment is made by bank card using Stripe’s secure form. Opaléia does not store card details.
The delivery area, method, cost and estimated delivery time are shown before payment. The customer must provide a complete address and check the parcel on receipt. Any problem must be reported promptly with relevant supporting information.
Mondial Relay and Colissimo are used for shipments. DPD will be offered soon. Delivery to a collection point is free on orders of €40 or more.
Orders are dispatched from Monday to Thursday midday.
Storage advice on the product page, packaging or enclosed documents must be followed. Opaléia cannot be held responsible for deterioration caused by unsuitable storage after delivery.
The fourteen-day right of withdrawal applies where provided by law. It may in particular be excluded for goods made to the customer’s specifications, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and certain sealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened. Any applicable exclusion is stated before ordering.
Before returning any product, a request must be sent to customer service. Return conditions depend on the nature of the product and the applicable statutory exceptions for food, personalised products or unsealed products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. An accepted refund is made using the original payment method within the applicable statutory period.
The statutory guarantees of conformity and against hidden defects remain applicable. If a product is damaged, incorrect or does not conform to the order, contact contact@opaleia.fr with the order number and relevant photographs.
Opaléia cannot be held liable for misuse, unsuitable storage or force majeure, without limiting the consumer’s mandatory rights.
A complaint should first be sent to contact@opaleia.fr. The consumer retains the remedies provided by law.
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their country of residence.
